Google is starting to be King! Hail to the King Baby!

The Partial World of Google!
I remember when Google was pretty much a Search Engine that pretty much only picked up news groups.  I think they had a vision of the Internet way before anyone really noticed them since the big companies like Microsoft, Netscape, AOL,  were all having their little browser war, Google seemed to be developing their own battle plan for a foothold of the Internet Market, but unlike the others, theirs was a secret until they were ready.

Now with all the cool things they have like Google Earth, maps, email, calendars, blog areas, and tons of help to do just about anything, I think their actually on their way ( if not there already),  to becoming something of Internet kings. ( at least for now as long as they keep the ball rolling)

Google already has more stuff then you could even look over in a week and almost all of it is free too. Google Earth I think is one of their biggest,  accomplishments.  It's been out for years and it's still incredible!

I read the other day that Google was buying up Robotic companies.  They've actually been purchasing companies in Japan and in the US.  Japan currently the leaders in Robotics for the past few years but I really doubt if that's going to remain that way, & with Google in the picture, like I said, this will be the past.

In the past 6 months Google has bought up 7 companies with their latest purchase of a company called:  "Boston Dynamic" which is a military robotic development company here in the United States.
The company "Boston Dymanic" currently does, & researches  government  robotic weaponry, but Google says their not at all interested in "Robot Weaponry" but they will still honor the agreement which has a remainder of about a year.  It's going to be interesting to see if they dump the weaponry research altogether.

Google, which has a market capitalization topping $357 billion, probably didn't even break out pocket change in buying Boston Dynamic, which is based in the Boston suburb of Waltham, or the seven other robotics companies it's acquired in the past six months.

The Google has been making big progress with its robotics research for a while. It has been testing driver-less cars since 2010 and according to its research, these vehicles were operated more safely with computer drivers than human ones. Google report's it's in regular contact with automakers about its work in this area.

Google Glasses
The US military also wanted to fund Google but I guess they turned it down totally.  They said they have enough money to fund their own projects themselves which is totally great.

So far the new Google Glass technology is incredible!  Although it's a little pricey, it look's like it's going to be the partial future of portable computers possibly!

Despite the controversy around Google Glass (the usual scary stuff like:  People driving with them on, walking, etc. . ), early buyers & reviewers say the attention they've received has been mostly positive.
Anyhow, with the cool glasses and all the cool gizmos they keep finding and building, it's going to be interesting to say the least as to what the future has in store for us from Google.

HAIL TO THE KING BABY!
